JAVA GCP Developer

About the Role

This Java GCP Developer role at Virtusa involves working on designing and developing scalable microservices architectures, building RESTful APIs, and implementing security features using OAuth2 and JWT.

As a Java GCP Developer, you will be responsible for integrating various databases, including DB2 and NoSQL, and developing reusable components using Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable microservices architectures and create API specifications.
• Build RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and integrate DB2 and NoSQL databases.
• Implement security features using OAuth2 and JWT.
• Develop reusable components using Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Deploy applications to the cloud (GCP preferred) and configure monitoring and alerting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with designing and developing microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API specifications.
• Experience with integrating DB2 and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT for security features.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of GCP cloud platform and its services.
