About the Role

As an Oracle Database Administrator/Oracle DBA at Vrinda International, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning. You will work closely with the development team to ensure database security, user management, and data integrity. Your primary goal will be to maintain high database availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, including RAC and ASM disk groups.
• Develop and implement database security policies and ensure user access control.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, including SQL tuning and performance optimization.
• Implement disaster recovery and replication strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures using RMAN.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure database security, user management, and data integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, Oracle Database Administration, SQL Tuning, Shell Scripting, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN Backup Recovery, Performance Tuning Optimization, ASM Disk Groups, Disaster Recovery Replication, and Security User Management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
