About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer at Weekday AI, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that power our AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, collaborate on code reviews, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software applications using Python and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of software products.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the needs of our users.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
- Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve software defects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of software development and AI.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with Git version control system.
- Understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and web development.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and services.
