Finance and Accounting Operations Specialist

About the Role

As a Finance and Accounting Operations Specialist at WNS Global Services Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, including account reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve financial performance. You will also be working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to management.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including collections and payment tracking.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial planning and analysis support to the business.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making.
• Provide MIS reporting and data interpretation to support business operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in finance and accounting operations, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software, including general ledger systems and financial planning and analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications in finance and accounting, such as CPA or CMA, are a plus.
