Consultant - Business Rates Data Analyst

About the Role
This role is a great opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, specifically in the context of business rates. As a Consultant - Business Rates Data Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing information to support the Business Rates CCA Process, which involves reviewing and inputting rental data, transferring data into valuation templates, and submitting checks.
Day-to-day, you will work closely with surveyors, administrators, and data teams to gather and analyze data, identify factual issues, and prepare submissions for review.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-check and check rental data, reviewing and inputting information into GLHIMS
- Transfer data into valuation templates and ensure accurate and consistent completion of mandatory fields
- Collate rental information from approved sources and assist in gathering background information relevant to challenges
- Identify missing or unclear measurement information and flag for site inspection or clarification
- Assist in completing factual check templates or internal review forms and compare factual data against client records
- Support senior colleagues by collating available comparable assessment data and drafting submissions
- Act as a point of coordination between surveyors, administrators, and data teams for allocated cases
