Intern (Java/Ai-native)

About the Role

As a Technology Intern at Yubi, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's redefining global debt markets through cutting-edge technology and AI-native engineering. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver scalable, next-generation fintech infrastructure using either Java (Backend) or React.js (Frontend).

With unrestricted access to frontier AI models and senior engineers, you'll have the opportunity to build features, automate routine workflows, and optimize code quality. This role requires a strong foundational knowledge of programming and a deep interest in actively contributing and scaling up fast.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code to build features using either Java (Backend) or React.js (Frontend).
• Leverage frontier AI agents and tools to automate routine workflows, optimize code quality, and fast-track development cycles.
• Quickly absorb and adapt to new technologies, languages, and frameworks as project requirements evolve.
• Partner closely with cross-functional pods consisting of engineers, product managers, and AI agents to solve real-world financial problems.
• Participate in regular code reviews, execute testing, and debug software applications to maintain high-quality engineering standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on project experience in either Java (Spring Boot/Data Structures) OR React.js (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Deep passion for continuous learning and eagerness to step out of your technical comfort zone.
• Sharp analytical thinking with an ability to debug complex logical issues efficiently.
• Keen interest in Generative AI tools and how they can be used to supercharge software engineering practices.
• Proactive attitude toward taking responsibility for your deliverables.
