Junior Accountant

About the Role

As a Junior Accountant at Zippee, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role involves working closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.

You will have the opportunity to work with various accounting software and tools, including Tally ERP, and develop your skills in financial data analysis, account reconciliations, and payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including GST and TDS.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies or irregularities.
• Process payments and manage cash flow.
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and other accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of financial data analysis and account reconciliations.
