About the Role
This Territory Officer role at Zoetis is a sales position that involves managing a territory and generating sales from assigned customers. The candidate will be responsible for learning and utilizing solution selling, territory management, and business planning capabilities to establish relationships and maximize sales performance within the assigned territory.
The role requires the ability to demonstrate success in sales metrics such as call average, coverage, time on field, and product growth rate objectives. The candidate will also be expected to build and demonstrate technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and understand veterinary practice to establish relationships with and service all targeted hospitals/personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet overall sales objectives (quota) both overall and for key growth products through demand generation within targeted geography.
- Successfully launch new product and service offerings.
- Demonstrate success in other key sales metrics such as call average, coverage, time on field, and product growth rate objectives.
- Demonstrate the ability to learn and execute Solution Selling capabilities.
- Establish relationships with and service all targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
- Effectively execute a call-cycle at the account and veterinarian level that delivers our reach/frequency expectations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in Science, Pharmacy, Lifesciences Animal Health or other industry-related experience.
- Verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and make thoughtful/fair decisions based on relevant information.
- Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, and ability to learn Zoetis systems).
- Physical ability to travel to outstations and ex-stations to meet customers based on customer visit cycle.
