About the Role

As an Accountant at 5ire, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile accounts, identify discrepancies, and investigate and resolve any issues.
• Perform account analysis, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and account balance analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with CRM software and customer service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
