Project Cost Accountant (Permanent)

About the Role

As a Project Cost Accountant at Zydus Group, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial data related to various projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements. Your day-to-day tasks will involve reviewing project budgets, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and actuals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to project teams to optimize cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Prepare and review financial reports, including project status reports and MIS reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for process improvements and implement changes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, finance teams, and external partners.

Skills & Qualifications

• Cost Accounting: Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Finance: Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• ICWA/CMA: Certified ICWA or CMA designation is highly preferred.
• SAP: Experience with SAP financial modules, including FI, CO, and MM.
• MIS Reporting: Ability to design and develop MIS reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to financial reporting.
• CA: Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is an added advantage.
• Accounting Accuracy: Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in financial data.
• Financial Data Analysis: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
